Our Sewing + DIY classes and workshops are organized, group lessons with no more than five students per class or workshop. The perfect setting for those who are easily inspired by the creativity of others!

SEWING + DIY BASICS
4 week session

For beginners! 16+ years; ALL AGES on Sundays

  • The quickest way to start sewing. Learn the basics of a sewing machine

  • Work with simple and basic stitches and get familiar with the fabric.

  • Build and practice your skills by completing four small projects that build upon one another

Total Hours : 6 hours - classes meet once a week for 90 minutes

SEWING + DIY PLUS
4 week session

For beginners! 16+ years; ALL AGES on Sundays

  • Students must complete our Sewing+DIY Basics program before taking this course.

  • Learn how to sew with zippers and incorporate lining

  • Create your own pair of pajama pants and start exploring garment construction

Total Hours : 6 hours - classes meet once a week for 90 minutes
Pricing : $225 plus HST

SEWING + DIY PRO
4 week session

For beginners! 16+ years; ALL AGES on Sundays

  • Level Up! Students must complete Sewing+DIY Basics and Plus.

  • Learn how to read a commercial pattern and sew a skirt

  • Discover the importance of proper measuring, cutting, and fitting for a custom made wardrobe

Total Hours : 6 hours - classes meet once a week for 90 minutes
Pricing : $250 plus HST

REVAMP : THRIFTERS WORKROOM
For Teens+Adults, 15+ years
12 week session

Offered SUNDAYS

  • For those who love to thrift! Rework and revamp your favourite finds!

  • Learn to alter and adjust your vintage or thrifted pieces.

  • Rework fabrics or garments into something new to you!

Total Hours : 12 hours - classes meet once a week for 60 minutes
Pricing : $350 plus HST

PATTERN PERFECT
For Teens+Adults, 15+ years
12 week session

Offered SUNDAYS

  • Hone your pattern literacy! Complete two garments from commercial patterns.

  • First garment is for advanced beginners; second garment moves into intermediate skills

  • Best for those whom have completed Seiwng+DIY PRO

Total Hours : 12 hours - classes meet once a week for 60 minutes
Pricing : $350 plus HST

Programs

Routine is everything for growing minds and we get that! Our school-year programs run from September to June and encourage our students to establish routines and build a mindset of practice makes perfect.

 

Ages 7-11 years
SEW HAPPY PROGRAM

  • Over the course of 10 months, students will progress from beginners to confident sewists.

  • Students will learn to work with a sewing machine, starting with simple projects and working their way up.


    Pricing : $95 upon registration; $80 per month
    Fees will be charged at the start of each month between September to June. Registration fee covers materials for the year.

 

Ages 12-18 years
TEEN ATELIER PROGRAM

  • Over the course of 10 months, students will progress from confident sewists to designers.

  • Students will practice sustainable fashion while learning all the skills to alter, upcycle and finish new-to-them pieces.

    Pricing : $95 upon registration; $80 per month
    Fees will be charged at the start of each month between
    September to June. Registration fee covers materials for
    the year.
